La felicitacion de pascuas en navidad es una costumbre española y es la más antigua de todas.
Pacuas es el Tiempo desde la Natividad de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo hasta el día de Reyes inclusive.

La palabra pascua viene del hebreo y significa Paso del Señor. Los hebreos llaman pascua a la conmemoración de su salida de Egipto y a su paso por el Mar Rojo.
Para la Iglesia católica, pascua significa el Paso del Señor pero también la Manifestacion del Señor, por eso se usa la palabra pascua durante la Navidad, durante la epifanía o sea durante el tiempo entre la navidad y la adoración de los Reyes Magos (que en realidad eran unos sabios de oriente) y durante la semana santa ya que pascua también es la celebración de la resurección de Jesucristo.
